One of the few weaknesses of the Raspbery Pi is the location of the SD-Card socket that protrudes from the end of the board. If handled clumsily it is very easy to snap-off the retaining lips on the card carrier which then puts your Pi out of action. Whilst there are several ‘bodge’ repair suggestions on the web, the best solution is the fit the correct replacement part. However, finding the right part is not easy. I have managed to find a source of matching SD carriers but had to buy more than I required, so I am offering the surplus through my web shop. The price is £3 each with free UK first class postage and European first class is just £2.
